10 AGREEMENTS with FAMILIES

BY WITH BRIGHT STAR YOU HERBY AGREE TO ADHERE TO OUR CODE OF CONDUCT. IF YOU ARE FOUND IN VIOLATION OF THIS CODE OF CONDUCT, YOU MAY BE REMOVED FROM THE PROGRAM WITHOUT NOTICE OR REFUND. ALL FAMILY MEMBERS AND VISITORS TO BRIGHT STAR AGREE TO UPHOLD THIS CODE OF CONDUCT.

  1. FAMILIES ARE EXPECTED TO MODEL BEHAVIOR CONSISTENT WITH GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP. FAMILIES ENROLLED IN THE PROGRAM WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT OF ANY GUESTS THEY BRING TO THE LOCATION.
  2. FAMILIES WILL GET THEIR PLAYER TO SESSIONS ON TIME AND MAKE AN EFFORT TO ENSURE THEY ARE IN PLAY CONDITION. (UNIFORM / PROPER SHOES / SHIN GUARDS WHEN NEEDED)
  3. FAMILIES THAT YELL EXCESSIVELY, OR ARE ABUSIVE TO PLAYERS, OTHER FAMILIES OR STAFF WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FIELD / REMOVED FROM THE PROGRAM AT THEIR COMPLETE EXPENSE OWN RISK.
  4. FAMILIES THAT DISRESPECT THE COACH, THE STAFF, THE SESSION, PLAYERS OR OTHER PARENTS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FIELD. FAMILIES THAT DEMONSTRATE THESE BEHAVIORS WILL NOT ONLY BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE GAME, BUT THEY MAY ALSO BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PROGRAM.
  5. FAMILIES CHEER; COACHES COACH. WE ASK THAT YOU CHEER FOR ALL CHILDREN FROM THE SIDELINES. PLEASE ALLOW THE COACH TO PROVIDE ANY FEEDBACK TO THE PARENTS AFTER THE SESSION.
  6. NO COACHING FROM THE SIDELINE. YOU ARE NOT A COACH. IT’S CONFUSING FOR THE PLAYERS TO RECEIVE COACHING DIRECTION FROM MULTIPLE SIDELINE SOURCES. DURING PRACTICES PARENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE FIELD. PARENTS SHOULD STAY ON THE SIDELINES MARKED BY OUR PERIMETER CONES.
  7. FAMILIES ARE EXPECTED TO STAND BACK FROM THE SIDELINE. THE PLAYERS NEED ROOM ON THE SIDELINE TO TAKE THROW INS. PARENTS NEED TO STAND WELL BACK FROM THE SIDELINE, SHOWING THE PLAYERS THAT THE TOUCHLINE IS AN IMPORTANT LINE FOR OUT OF BOUNDS.
  8. IF A SPECTATOR(S) FAILS TO RESPOND TO A COACH’S REQUEST TO CEASE AND DESIST FROM IMPROPER BEHAVIOR, THE COACH IS EMPOWERED TO TERMINATE THE SESSION.
  9. CHEER, BUT DON’T CRITICIZE. KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHEERING (“NICE PASS,” “GOOD RUN,” “WAY TO GO”) AND CRITICIZING (“RUN FASTER,” “KICK HARDER,” “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?”). KIDS ARE POSITIVELY MOTIVATED BY CHEERING.
  10. EXIT FIELD AFTER SESSION SWIFTLY. PLEASE ALLOW US TO RESET FOR THE NEXT SESSION. PICK UP ALL LITTER AFTER GAMES AND PRACTICES. AFTER EVERY PRACTICE AND EVERY GAME, LEAVE THE FIELD CLEANER THAN YOU FOUND IT. BRIGHT STAR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CLIENT BELONGINGS AND WILL NOT HOLD ANY LOST ITEMS.

10 AGREEMENT POLICIES with PARENT OR GUARDIAN

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE OUR POLICIES AND PRICING AT ANY TIME. APPLICATIONS TO BRIGHT STAR DO NOT GUARANTEE CLASS PLACEMENT. UPON ENROLL OF CLUB, YOU HEREBY AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING POLICIES BELOW.

  1. NO REFUNDS THEREAFTER SIGN UP. WE DO NOT OFFER FULL OR PARTIAL REFUNDS OF ANY KIND FOR ANY REASON. PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE ABLE TO COMMIT BEFORE ENROLLING. WE HAVE A NO MISSED CLASS POLICY. WE DO NOT HAVE MAKE UP CLASSES. WE UNDERSTAND YOU HAVE VACATIONS, LIFE COMMITMENTS, BUT TO ACCOMMODATE OUR FAMILIES YEAR-ROUND WE USE A FIXED SCHEDULE. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE DATES YOU CAN ATTEND BEFORE SIGNING UP. SOMETIMES IN THE EVENT OF EXTREME WEATHER, ACT OF GOD OR ANY OTHER REASON BEYOND THE CONTROL OF BRIGHT STAR THAT CLASSES CANNOT RUN FOR LONGER THAN ONE SESSION. BUT IN THE EVENT OF A SINGLE SESSION CLOSURE, NO CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.
  2. PAYMENT WILL BE MADE TO THE RECEPTION DESK ONLY. NO PAYMENTS WILL BE MADE TO COACHES DIRECTLY. NO REFUNDS, MAKEUP CLASSES OR CREDITS ISSUED FOR MISSED CLASSES.
  3. IT IS THE DUTY OF THE CLIENT TO KEEP THEIR MOST CURRENT CONTACT INFORMATION ON FILE WITH THE BRIGHT STAR OFFICE OR RECEPTION DESK. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU INFORM US OF ALL CHANGES SO WE CAN STAY IN TOUCH.
  4. IN THE EVENT THAT YOU DECIDE TO WITHDRAW YOUR CHILD FROM THE PROGRAM, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE BRIGHT STAR OFFICE OR RECEPTION DESK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CHARGES AS STATED IN THE ABOVE SECTION.
  5. WE HAVE A ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY FOR BULLYING. PLAYER AND PARENT BEHAVIOR WHICH DOES NOT MEET THE EXPECTED STANDARDS OF BRIGHT STAR WILL RECEIVE TWO (2) WARNING AND THEN ARE SUBJECT TO REMOVAL FROM THE PROGRAM WITHOUT REFUND AND/OR WILL NOT BE INVITED TO RENEW THEIR PACKAGE. THIS INCLUDES ANY FORM OF BULLYING, RUDENESS, PHYSICAL OR VERBAL HARM TO OTHER BRIGHT STAR CHILDREN OR STAFF.
  6. BRIGHT STAR WILL SEND (2) EMAILS WHEN NOTIFYING YOU TO RENEW YOUR PARTICIPANTS SESSIONS. IF YOU DO NOT RENEW YOUR ENROLLMENT PROMPTLY, YOU RUN THE RISK OF LOSING YOUR SPOT IN THE PROGRAM.
  7. ABSOLUTELY NO TOYS OR SNACKS OUT OF THEIR CONTAINERS DURING CLASS. NO FOOD ON THE FIELD FOR ANY REASON. NO DRINKS THAT ARE NOT WATER ALLOWED ON THE GYM.
  8. IN THE EVENT OF PREEXISTING INJURIES OR CURRENT ILLNESSES THAT MAY INTERFERE WITH CLASSES OR CAMP PLEASE SPEAK DIRECTLY TO THE OUR PHONE NUMBER OR E-MAIL TO NOTIFY OF ANY SPECIAL NEEDS OR MEDICAL DIRECTIVES BEFORE THE START OF CLASS. WE WILL DO OUR ABSOLUTE BEST TO ACCOMMODATE. HOWEVER, IF YOUR CHILD HAS A FEVER OR A CONTAGIOUS DISEASE, NEVER BRING THEM TO THE CLUB.
  9. CHILDREN WHO WEAR GLASSES MUST ALWAYS USE SHATTERPROOF EYEWEAR. CHILDREN MUST WEAR NON-SLIP SNEAKERS, OR THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS. SHORTS ARE RECOMMENDED. SHIN GUARDS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED FOR ALL CHILDREN. UNIFORMS ARE REQUIRED. YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR UNIFORM ON YOUR FIRST DAY OF CLASS.
  10. BRIGHT STAR DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE SAME COACHES FOR EVERY CLASS. WE DO OUR BEST TO REMAIN CONSISTENT, BUT OUR STAFFING IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT AND COACHES CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.

BRIGHT STAR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS. WE DO NOT HAVE A LOST AND FOUND. BRIGHT STAR LOCATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. PARENTS OR GUARDIAN WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA EMAIL.
