OUR PROGRAMS

SOCCER

Our mission is to create lifelong enjoyment of sports through fun and engaging soccer programs. Our programs cater to children from Grade 1 to Grade 7, fostering both physical and social development in a supportive environment. Our coaches focus on creating a positive environment where children feel valued and encouraged.

They are committed to generating fun and excitement, giving praise and recognition, solving everyday problems, directing group activities, and developing team spirit. Our coaches are passionate about children and soccer, believing that the best way for young children to learn is by having fun. Join us to experience the joy of soccer and make new friends along the way.

ACADEMIC

Based on the assessment results, students will be placed in age-appropriate and skill-based groups: Lower Elementary (Grades 1–3) and Upper Elementary (Grades 4–7). This placement allows us to provide instruction that best meets each student's individual learning needs.

The Academic Learning Program is designed in alignment with the BC Curriculum. Students will focus on English Language Arts and Mathematics while developing essential skills in reading, writing, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication through engaging and interactive learning activities.

In addition, we provide a variety of academic support services, including homework assistance, guided reading activities, and educational games. These resources are intended to help students better understand their school lessons, strengthen their academic skills, and build confidence in their learning.

Bright Star Kids Ministry is more than an after-school program. It is an educational ministry dedicated to helping students grow academically, develop meaningful mentoring relationships, and prepare for their future.
